Make The Case

Adopting Philadelphia Union means USA MLS results start mattering to you, a club going since 2008. Not a novelty, a habit.

Ground floor
Founded in 2008. There is no dynasty to inherit and no bandwagon to be accused of joining, this is a club whose history you can genuinely watch happen.
Nothing won, everything to play for
The trophy cabinet is a shelf and a rumour. Supporting Philadelphia Union is a bet on a first, not a return to former glories.
Close to the pitch
Subaru Park Chester, Pennsylvania holds about 18,500. You can hear the defenders shouting at each other, which is the single best argument for lower-capacity football.
Easy weekend
Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is about 19km from the ground, and Midtown Sacramento station is 3km closer still. A home fixture is a genuinely doable two-night trip.

Ground: Subaru Park Chester, Pennsylvania. Go in a day early, find the pre-match pub, buy the programme.
