Why FC Cincinnati

Here is the argument for FC Cincinnati: USA, USA MLS, and a ground called TQL Stadium Cincinnati, Ohio. A second team should give you something your first one cannot, and this is a different country's whole weather system.

  • Proper ground

TQL Stadium Cincinnati, Ohio takes roughly 25,513, big enough for atmosphere, small enough that you can learn where the singing corner is on your first visit.

  • You get a nickname

Known as The Orange and Blue The Knifey Lions The Garys. That is your new shorthand, your search term and your excuse for buying a scarf.

  • Worth the journey

Nearest airport is Denver International Airport (DEN), roughly 34km out. This is not a casual away day, which is precisely why the people who do it take it seriously.

  • The calendar you inherit

Following USA MLS means odd kick-off hours, a new commentary language and a table you will check before your own club's. USA becomes part of your week.
