Reasons To Adopt

Colorado Rapids work as a second team because they come with their own geography: USA, Denver Soccer Stadium Denver, Colorado, and a set of rivalries you will absorb faster than you expect.

You get a nickname
Known as Rapids 2. That is your new shorthand, your search term and your excuse for buying a scarf.
Worth the journey
Nearest airport is Cheyenne Regional Jerry Olson Field (CYS), roughly 69km out. This is not a casual away day, which is precisely why the people who do it take it seriously.
The calendar you inherit
Following USA MLS means odd kick-off hours, a new commentary language and a table you will check before your own club's. USA becomes part of your week.
Modern era club
Formed in 1996, so the whole story is documented, arguable and still being written. Join now and you were basically there from the start.
