The Case For Them

Here is the argument for Yunnan Yukun: China, China Chinese Super League, and a ground called Yuxi Plateau Sports Center Stadium. A second team should give you something your first one cannot, and this is a different country's whole weather system.

Something to defend
The cabinet is not empty: China League One and CMCL. Small enough to recite from memory, big enough to argue about in a pub.
Proper ground
Yuxi Plateau Sports Center Stadium takes roughly 30,300, big enough for atmosphere, small enough that you can learn where the singing corner is on your first visit.
Worth the journey
Nearest airport is Kunming Changshui International Airport (KMG), roughly 187km out. This is not a casual away day, which is precisely why the people who do it take it seriously.
The calendar you inherit
China Chinese Super League runs on a rhythm most European fans never see, heat, humidity and kick-off times that will reorganise your weekend. Adopting a club from China is a genuine change of climate.
