Reasons To Adopt

Here is the argument for Sabah: Azerbaijan, Europe UEFA Champions League, and a ground called Bank Respublika Arena. A second team should give you something your first one cannot, and this is a different country's whole weather system.

Easy weekend
Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD) is about 14km from the ground, and Ahmedli is 2km closer still. A home fixture is a genuinely doable two-night trip.
The calendar you inherit
Following Europe UEFA Champions League means odd kick-off hours, a new commentary language and a table you will check before your own club's. Azerbaijan becomes part of your week.
Ground floor
Founded in 2017. There is no dynasty to inherit and no bandwagon to be accused of joining, this is a club whose history you can genuinely watch happen.
Something to defend
The cabinet is not empty: Azerbaijan Premier League and Azerbaijan Cup. Small enough to recite from memory, big enough to argue about in a pub.
