Reasons To Adopt

Fakenham Town are not a spare club. They are England FA Trophy, Clipbush Park, Fakenham, and 142 years of people deciding this was theirs, pick them and the season has a second spine.

Deep roots
Founded in 1884, Fakenham Town were playing organised football before floodlights, substitutes or televised highlights existed. You are adopting 142 years of accumulated grudges.
Something to defend
The cabinet is not empty: Eastern Counties League and Anglian Combination. Small enough to recite from memory, big enough to argue about in a pub.
Home is home
Clipbush Park, Fakenham is the address. Learn the walk from the station to the turnstile and you have most of what supporting a club actually is.
You get a nickname
Known as The Ghosts. That is your new shorthand, your search term and your excuse for buying a scarf.
