Why Bedfont Sports

Bedfont Sports are not a spare club. They are England FA Trophy, Bedfont Recreation Ground, Bedfont, and 64 years of people deciding this was theirs, pick them and the season has a second spine.

Modern era club
Formed in 1962, so the whole story is documented, arguable and still being written. Join now and you were basically there from the start.
Something to defend
The cabinet is not empty: Middlesex County League and Hounslow and District League. Small enough to recite from memory, big enough to argue about in a pub.
Close to the pitch
Bedfont Recreation Ground, Bedfont holds about 3,000. You can hear the defenders shouting at each other, which is the single best argument for lower-capacity football.
You get a nickname
Known as The Eagles. That is your new shorthand, your search term and your excuse for buying a scarf.
